Rust-fix

Hi, y'all,

I got the rust spots on teh hood bondo-ed and primered, now I hvae a nice excuse to paint the car black. Sail badges are in the mail, too.

what did you do with the rust? you didn't just slap some bondo over it did you?

"Oh yeah, no worries, didn't even sand it or nuthin'... Hey, why's it bubbling back up for?"

Yeah, we sanded it down real good, had to use metal tape to cover the half-dollar-sized HOLE right in front of the passenger heat-vent, bondo-ed the sanded areas, blasted it with primer/sealant, cleaned up the overspray, job done. Looks WORSE now with these four ugly gray patches on the hood, but hey, it's a work in-progress. I'd post a picture, but why bother, we didn't get a good pic of what it USED to look like.
