interior needs help!!!!!

interior needs help!!!!!
i have an 82 trans am and my interior is faded, really bad. some places it's gray it was blue. is there any kind of paint for this or do i need to buy new pieces. i would like to change every thing to black any way. i tried some spray paint but that didnt stick it just scraped right off.

Hi.
The paint will not stick to ABS or polypropylene (as you have found out!). The theory behind this, is you spray some "polyprep" on the surface, which sticks very well. Smells like glue. Then a proper paint designed for the job (with colour of your choice) gets sprayed on the top of that. This sticks to the other stuff. If done properly, it will last well.
Unfortunately, the products I use are here in the UK! No doubt you have your alternatives over there. I am sure Eastwood have a range of products to suit.

PS May be easier to swap them all out for some black ones out of a scrapper!
