Rear Seat Problem!

I ran into an unexpected problem today while installing my replacement rear reats into my 1986 IROCZ. The car originally had the saddle (light tan) interior. But the seats have had it. The rear seat is a one piece back, the seats I am installing are from a 1987 Camaro. They are also saddle (light tan) but they appear to be made of some kind of shiny canvas materiel.

If I am to search for a one piece rear seat back, did they even make such a thing in the color/fabric? Or do I need to go throught the PITA of converting the car over to a split rear seat back?

I read an old post on this conversion, and apparently the brackets are often destroyed during removal from the donor vehicle unless they are removed with a "spot weld" drill.

This little problem has brought my restoration project to a complete halt. Can you guys give me some advice on this?

Thanx, andyZ28
