Bye bye fender, good game wreck.

Ya.. today, leaving work, the sun was in my eyes.. i had to go accross the street, and well, this hot girl, stopped for me in the right lane, and i didn't see anyone in the left lane, so i quickly(cuz they where about to have a green light, well, they ahd one, just where about to need to move) and.. so i went, and BOOM! guy in a green truck comes outta nowehere! NOWHERE! and i looked & everything.. and i'm like.. omfgosh.. front fender screwed, light won't go up, broke bracket, and door a bit messed up!!!! i mean.. i want to replace the fender & all, but.. shibby, not like this.. Ohya, it was undriveable, so i had my friend, Ernesto(now best friend right now) help me, he owns a car shop... fixes & all, and um, he helped me get it in driving order right then and there...

BUt.. if i can post some pix, i shall, this sucks, and i was gonna go out this weekend, and all.. I will probably stil go to the meet next weekend at race rock, just cuz i still love my car. & am not ashamed to drive it..

But.. there goes my new video card, taking it back tomorrow.. And.. ya.. work pay going out the window for awihle, !

Imma talk w/ the cop, cuz he buys stuff from my family's business all the time, and see if he won't show up in court, so i'll get off. :-/...

OHYA!!! the shop in the background is the where the guy i know, Ernesto works at.. well, runs.. And.. he's cool, he's got an 84(i think, or 85 or 86, i think 84 or 86, anyways) formula, and he's turning it into the "Kitt" car from night rider.

SO... ya. :-/! lol

ouch man, i know what thats like. My accident was similar ..... couldn't see the car till it was too late due to another car obstructing the view. I see the Ranger in the pic and cringed (see sig).

yours is pretty fixable .... a new fender is the most of your worrys and they are easily accessable. My GTA on the otherhand ain't fixable, front end accident bent the car clear to the firewall ..

won't connect to the pic of the ranger.

& ya, it's pretty fixable, i'mma run down to a junk yard on saturday to see about a new fender, if it's 150 or some crap, i'll just get a new one, pfft.. but i can get a used one online for 100.. so.. :-/

Imma see what i can do, and as far as the light fixture goes, i'll try to find that too...

Sorry to hear about the GTA. Sucks, bad.

Thats definitly fixable. The fender bolts off easy enough, biggest pain is getting the big bottom bolt off near the rocker. The headlight assembly is held in with just 3 bolts i think, very easy to get off, just a pain to line up properly.

I crashed my TA a while back, pics are on here somewhere.

That sucks though, good luck with the court thing.

ya, easy to fix & all, and the headlights are a pain, rofl, took me a few hours before to get them correct, when i had fixed the motors in them.. pfft..

Ya, i know the cop, :-D.. so.. my dad's gonna talk w/ him, since he knows all of us actually, and well, see what he's going to do, if he decides to show up, then i'll take a class & just pay 62 bucks for ticket & whatever for class, and get no points on insurance, if not, i'll go the court way & get off, :-/.

Either way, i just cna't have my insurance go up, if that happens, then i'm screwed.
