Door alignment?

Hey everyone! I am in the process of prepping my camaro for paint. I've noticed that the driver's door is too close to the fender. Like the whole door should be shifted back about 1/8". Any tips on how I can do this? Pic is included below.

Re: Door alignment?

Check the tabs on the bottom of the fender near the door.
Prob. some dum-dum jacked the car up in that area and bent the
tabs and shifted the fender.
When lifted there it shifts the fender back toward the door
or bows it out.
That happens quite often....................
