Axle/Gears: 9-bolt Borg Warner, 3.45
Is an alignment needed?

If u just replace the struts and not the brackets...it should bolt back in the same way it came out and u would NOT need an alignment.

Is that true?

There is slop in the mounting bolts for the strut so there may be a slight change but nothing major most of the time. Still not a bad idea to have it checked
