need tire size for gta wheels

hey guys, i just got my gta wheels powder coated, and i need the tire size for them. i want the "wide look", i think it looks nice. also arent the rear wheels bigger?? and if so than is it better to buy bigger tires for the rear wheels?. i would like a sporty looking tread on them, but not to exotic. thanks--jorge

245/50/16 was standard, but 255/50/16 seems to work out well too.

Goodyear Eagle HP Ultra Plus 255 50Zr16 w/the GTa wheels(4 fronts). There are 2 versions of these tires a non ultra plus & the ultra plus which is ZR rated & a directional tire. For some reason the local goodyear tire store quoted $131.00 for the ultra plus & $153.00 for the non ultra tire which is not a Zr or dirctional tire.So i bought the ultra.Have had no problems w goodyears ever(14 years straight).although i run 4 front wheels so i can rotate my tires w/out any problems(tire rubbing).the only rubbing i get is on my front sway bar,but that was after i installed the hotchkis front bar which is bigger than the factory 36mm.

What they said, and :
The front and rear wheels are both 16" x 8". The only difference is the offset (back spacing).
