replacement quarters
looking for the best price on aftermarket "repair" quarters (not a full quarter) any help on where i can get them and price would be great.

I know year one sells the lower rear quarter panels. IIRC 150.00 ish. They are listed as aftermarket, which is what your looking for. All the outer sheet metal from the beneath the hatch glass line.

You could get a good quarter panel from a junkyard, although it would be difficult to find one in good shape thats not a rust and bondo bucket. Never hurts to check.

So what's the difference between the NOS quarter panels and the aftermarket "skins"? why is the one 1/4 the price of the other? I just found that my whole pass. quarter is all bondo'ed up and it seems pretty thick in some areas, so i'm just going to replace it instead of getting my new paint over it. good idea?

In this case, NO<x>S refers to New Old Stock, which basically means a factory piece. Fitment will be much better than an aftermarket piece - sometimes it will cost more in the long run to get an aftermarket piece to fit correctly, than to buy an original GM part.

if you want some right off a camaro I can get you those, but I think they are cheap from the dealer are they not?
