What to do about weatherstrip and new paint...
I have some new weatherstripping (GM of course
) and I plan on getting the car repainted. But I'm wondering if I should paint the car first, or put on the weatherstripping first. I really want to do a good job with the paint, so I'm assuming I should paint first. Just looking for some opinions/experiences. Thanks!

If you are doing the paint job yourself, put the striping on after like mentioned, if you are having a shop paint it, let them do the striping too. Whats another $50!?!? They should pull off the old, paint "under" it, or where it would be, then put the new stuff on last. It should not cost all that much more to install it for you. Ya figure labor should be no more than 1-2 hrs for the install and removal.
