convertible trunk lids
first off, does anybody know if camaro convertible trunklids and firebird convertible trunklids are interchangeable?
next, i'm sure i'm not the only vert owner who will someday need a new trunk lid, but i've never found one (or even a repro). anybody know where to get one, because i've never even seen a vert being parted out.
what would it take to someday get one of the bigger companies that advertise above to make a repro (fiberglass or steel, whichever one can be done)?

Axle/Gears: 3.45, 3.27, 3.27
Camaro & Firebird trunklids are interchangeable. There may be a slight difference in the 1991-92 compared to 1987-90 due to the different hatch (trunk) hook used. House of Camaro here in So. Cal. has one if you need it. Their number is (800)160-6789.

I see new and used third gen convertible parts on ebay every month. Trunk lids & deck lids are commonly listed every month.
