You could also check out ebay motors, although they still sell for a decent amount of money even used. I recently sold 2 WAY less than perfect ones with half the tabs broken off, and they went for $25 Keep in mind that was with a full description on the condition and two very high res pics.

I emailed thirdgen resource when I was looking still, and they said that if they have them, they usually sell for about $10 each plus shipping.

I'm sorry, but all I can give you is bad news here. For starters, if you go aftermarket, they fit WAY more crappy than the originals, and fall off even easier. No one makes anything that helps lock them in place. The other bad news, is it is cheaper to buy a whole set, than replace one.

Now, if you want to go used, Classic Industries sells just the decals, but they're something like $11 apiece.

Sorry, and let me know if you find any of this to be false, but I've had this problem about 3 times now and this is what I've come to learn. First time they were all 4 stolen, second time I lost one, and now I've lost one again and I've yet to replace it. I bought a used set on Ebay, and I'm gonna clean them up and try to get new decals for them, or make my own with my printer.

i've found a little dab of blue rtv silicone on each of the tabs prevents them falling out on thier own and it still allows them to be knocked out when you get your tires balanced without damage to them

It seems rediculous to me that the aftermarket companies, or GM couldn't just expand the star pattern on the hubcap to make them lock down under the lugnuts or something instead of just snapping on.

some on here are talking the 15" z28 wheel and some are talking the 16" iroc i belive

the silicone works on both though

mathius if you get lucky in a yard you may find some factory s-10 centercaps that do just what you describe they extend to underneath the lugs and are used on the same type of wheel that we have (they are also usually chrome or silver) and look very nice, but i've never seen reproductions

i'll try and find some pics

15" z-28 wheels (base rs in later production)

16" IROC wheel (this is the one that this thread was started about )
