Bondo for Plastic Front Bumper?
My front bumper cover has a crack in it and the lip is also broken. Is there a type of bondo or something i can use for the plastic front bumper cover?
The best/strongest way to repair plastic/eurothane parts for strength is to have them plasic welded. It requires special equipment and skills to succesfull. You must also know what material the part is so you can choose the proper filler material. As for bondo type material, I like SEM problem plastic filler the best. It is a 2-part system and requires a $30 gun (like a cauk gun). It works well and sticks good, but it is not very strong. I wouldn't count on it being stong enough to re-attach tab or hold together if you hit anything.

3m also makes a plastic repair that is a 2 part epoxy which also requires a special aplicator gun it is similar to there panel bond but is designed for plastic they also have a product which comes in two tubes but only works with certain plastics.
the best way is with a plasic welder , although if you prep your surfaces properly and reinforce the back side of the crack with like drywall tape, the 3m stuff works great i've used it several times at work(i am a collision tech in tampa) it sands good and blends into the surface well and i've never had comeback with it.
if you decide not partake in this repair you may try running the cover to a local shop if its a small crack i wouldnt see them charging any more than 4-6 hrs to repair it and prime the area.

I had the same problem with the bumpers on my formula, they were in horrible shape and had a lot of cracks and splits in them, I took a die grinder and cut about as deep as I could into about a 3 inch area and then filled it with long strand fiberglass and then took some 80 grit and knocked that down and went over it with some light weight body filler like z-grip from Napa and finsihed sanding it and blocking it and you can never tell it was cracked in anyway... Just my opinion
