Ok guys here is the deal, I own a 1985 Black Iroc-Z with cloth non power seats. They are originals and are really old, torn, and faded. Ive searched the local junkyards for 98 or newer Trans am/camaro black leather seats and only found power seats. My question is can I change the seat rails(power seat tracks) of the power ones for the ones on my car (non power)? Can someone please shed some lite to this question? I found some really nice 2002 trans am black power black leather seats, but im not sure this modification can be done? Oh and in case somebody asks, I would like to stay non powered when it comes to seats.

 

i believe you can, and then you can send me your useless power tracks so i can put them into my car

 

Yes you can do this, there is only four bolts that hold them on. Just like your original seats.

if you want the power seat you can just wiring the seats up to constant power in the fuse box(orange wire) and the other wire to ground(black)
