I actually did the swap from manual to power.. so What I would recommend it check out some of the local yards for the manual window regulator and some handles.. it's a direct swap when you remove the power regulator.. then all you need to do is cut a hole in your door panel, and your set.

thanks.
oh yeah about your question, finding the handles is going to be the hard part. when you go to take them off they will seem to seem to be quite stuck to the door, just pull hard, there is this clip on the back, if your lucky you wont break it, i have only done this once and it was on a corrola, oh, i take that back, my charokee they just came right off. good luck

no my windows don't work that is why i want to swap them. it is pretty embrassing pulling up then trying to roll down the window with it cluncking and schreeching and moving as fast as a snail. About what fast electics (sorry if i spelt it wrong) said with the power regulator, not sure what that means but if it means the motor then you can get a new motor from 1aauto.com for $40 then it would be a direct swap except for needing wires and a switch. i see you need v6 headers. did you ever find any and if so where? Do they have the AIR system or what ever it is called on them? thanks, eric

90 % of the time when a power window appears to be failing, it's because the regulator pivot points are starting to stiffen up.. I found it helps a lot to keep those points lubricated.
Take a look here.. this should help clear up some of your questions too.. Plus what you want to do would be the opposite of what this tech article is showing.
