Trying to get decals off my car

Trying to get decals off my car

I bought an 88 GTA and the kid who had the car b4 me went nuts with one of those smokey and the bandit decal kits.Im trying to get the big bird off my hood and trying to get off all the pinstriping.Does anyone have an effective method to get this off withought damaging the paint????

Try a hair dryer. This will loosen it up and you can peel it off. You may waht to try the stuff called goo gone. it iwll not hurt your paint but will cut the sticky stuff.

your best bet would be a hair drier and a rasor- angle the rasor so that its almost parallel with the hood- if your nervous, just take your time.

you can use the rasor to get the deal up, and slowly peal it off using heat.
