I just recently -bought a 85 z and it has been "primerd", i dont know what he has done to the body, sanding etc. but its all gray, i want to get it painted so do i just sand it all off and do it myself to make sure its done? and also what are the complete steps in prepping a car, and what is wetsanding

I Would re sand it to be sure the previous owner didn't half a$$ the job and re do it. better safe than sorry!!
