Are reproduction hoods flimsy? I may need to get one from Classic Industries, but was wondering how much thinner the stamped steel is. Is it noticable? Anyone have experience?

I wouldn't spend the big money on a brand new repro hood. There are 50 million thirdgens out there with custom hoods on them, which means there's 50 million guys looking to get rid of their stock GM hoods cheap. Buy a good used one and you'll get a better part and save some cash.
