Heat & A/C vents

Anyone have any experience with their heater/AC not directing air to the dash vents or floor? All of a sudden I only have air thru the defrost vents in my 92 RS. They worked prior to a recent engine change, but all my vacuum lines are connected to their original locations.
Any suggestions are much appreciated.

I had the same thing happen in my Beretta. Turned out to be a vacuum line I'd missed when checking earlier.

Yep, sounds like your vacuum line is not hooked up properly. Maybe it got put in the wrong place and melted after your engine change.

Defrost is the default air position when the system doesn't get any vacuum.

The leak must be at the controller then. Everything on in the engine bay is connected to the correct location.

Do you hear a hissing from behind the controlls? If you do its a vacuume line back there. I had the same problem.
