90-92 dash in a 89 iroc vert
i have a 89 iroc convertable i want to change my dash to the 90-92 dash how hard is it to do and what will i need to do this thanks a lot

The dash change will be very simple and straight forward, should bolt right on. However, the Speedometer cluster will not work. You are gonna have to do some rewiring to get it to work, especially since you are dealing with an electric speedomer since the '89 as not equipped with one.

The dash doesnt just bolt right in, the metal mounts on the ends where the 4 10 MM bolts go for the 90-92 dash are very different, it wont fit right with the stock 82-89 mounts in there, you can drill out the spot welds and remove them, then leave it without the end mounts, or get a set from a 90-92 car and install them.

use the entire 90-92 tpi dash harness and ecm, cant go wrong with the sweet dash, steering column&wheel, cool cluster and most of all speed density
