82-84? lower chin spoiler on an 86-up sc bumper?

ok here's my idea...

i seen this on a car here..

i have an 86 sport copue.
bumper cover has the 3 slits in top
and no reces or holes for lower spoiler like the newer model z's and iroc and rs's do.

and from what ive seen the older 82-84 maybe or up to 85 or something bolts on from the bottom or some how.

im not sure only seen them on ebay.

can the lower chin spoiler ground effect be mounted on my 86 sport coupe bumper cover?

to give it the chin spoiler look but w/o mounting a different bumper cover.

and just driling holes in the bottom to install it to mine.?

if anyone has pics of how the older bumper spoilers mount or how i could do this plz let me know.

pics are very helpful.

will find pics of parts im talking bout if needed.

lower spoiler im talkin bout has the slits in it as well like a hole there in bottom.
under the main opening for grille but in lower spoiler.

not aftermarket stuff either theese im talkin bout was factory.
for the older models.

well older z28's and such

It'd look better if you got a full nose from an 85-92 Camaro and added the lower chin GFX to it...

BTW: I have a set of IROC GFX, sides and rear bumper parts for sale.

i know im thinkin of either goin 1 w/ complete 85-90 front bumper sides rear and rear bumper of complete 91 92 setup.

but was just wondering if the old z spoiler would bolt to my bumper then get some side ground effects and i already have the rear one

so whast wrong w/ set u got?

email me and maybe we work out a deal on em

forgot...

main reason i wondered if theyd work or not was because i think the older chin spoiler would go well w/ the sport coupe nose due to the slits or vents in them whichever youd wanna call em

if it wont work then later i am just goin to go w/ the later style

I've seen that setup that you've decribed, but it was with an 82-84 SC front nose, not an 85-87 SC nose.

If you're interested in the GFX I have for sale, lemme know. I just upgraded to 91-92 Z28 GFX so I have my 87 ones for sale. Great shape, just need to be repainted to your car's color.
