Total frontal area

May be a stupid question but how do you fiqure the total frontal area of an 87? I know it is extremely aerodynamic, computer program wants to know. Kinda playing to see what to expect if I ever get her finished.

You will treat the front bumper as a traposoid or even just a rectangle will work. You will also need to factor in the windshild, rectangle should work

Area of A rectangle height*Length
Traposoid is a little harder, you have to break it into a triangle and one rectangle

triangle is 1/2 * Base * height

hope this helps, it should be close enough for the computer simulations.
