My headliner looks like a curtain right now and I was thinking of maybe buying a few yards and redoing mine, how would black vinyl/leather look for the headliner w/ black leather seats and black carpet?

I was thinking of doing the same thing a while back. I elected not to. Reason being, I remember my mother's 1990 Honda Civic that had a vinyl roof. It just seemed cheap to me.

Yah i recoverd mine in grey vinal i did it myself and because i have a ttop it didnt work out as good as i wanted it to. I like the look but the corners didnt cover right and when my ttops are open you can see a bit of the old headliner. I need to throw out it all and get a new abs one and get it recoverd professianal as i want it done right this time. I dont think it looks cheap at all...it all depends on what the vinal looks like. I got the material for pretty cheap tho but dont do it your self if you got a ttop.

Well I got a hardtop and have never seen a vehicle with that type of material on the headliner, was wondering if it would accentuate the leather seats, I mean black cloth is cool with me, just curious.
