I'm making a new switch panel for my exhaust cut switch...so now it's going to be flush mounted with the rest of the console. I thought about using aluminum, then polishing it.....then I was thinkin...I wonder if ir would look better using a piece of brushed stainless steel? What do you think? I think the brushed stainless would look more expensive and less cheap.....what do you think?

Here's an option. What about painting it wrinkle black? I've got a few braces that I've painted with wrinkle black, and it looks hot... like it came that way from the factory. It's $3/can from the auto parts stores... don't forget a can of primer... so you could test it out and see what you think.
(The braces are on the radio console and center console of my '86, from when the vinyl started peeling away.)
