door hinge problem
Ok this is kinda odd. I got rearended about a month ago, the car was towed back to my house 2 weeks ago. Now when I went to shut the driverside door after we got it on the trailer it was fine. My parents towed it home, I stayed at school. When I got home the next week the door was sagging. Its got enough play in it to where I can lift it up. It goes up about 1/8-1/4 a inch( not a lot, but noticble) It wont close at all, it hits the gfx. What happened? How can I fix this? The door was perfectly fine after the accident and right before it was towed out. Now all of a sudden it sags. The other door is fine, just sags a little, which is the same as it was since I got the car.
How much is a hinge repair kit, I dont have much money to spend.
Thanks,
Matt

I sell two hinge repair kits from 3rdGenSolutions (aka Andy Z28). The Standard non-greasable kit is $74. The Greasable upper door hinge repair kit is $96. Both kits repair one door. If you don't have one you should also buy the GM Door Spring tool which helps you safely remove and re-install the door spring in the lower hinge.
