I got a '91 1LE that had a gotten smashed in the back and the draw down got killed and the old owner threw it out. I was going through e-bay and noticed there is 2 styles. When was the change over and how is it differnt?

Look at Top Down Solutions, blue banner up top.

He has fully rebuilt assemblies, and lon is great, you can also get the motor if you have found everything else.

you will be able to see the year breakdown also on his site.

From the onset of the pulldown motor from 1986 until 1991 they used a larger mech, starting in mid production year 1991 they changed over to the smaller mech: The Vin break for the Firebird was 240932 & after for the second version...

hope that helps

I though he threw out the draw down but it was under the rubble of the back. I can tell by the pic's I need the small one.
Thanks.
