k.. recently my g/f backed into a tree, mirror caught the tree and bent door into dash back bolt of the mirror ripped out of mirror... like a baseball size of metal ripped out... bad new, but a friend of mine had a junked camaro with a good door, door has power window and manual mirrors and locks.... my door is alll power everything..

i was going to take my power mirror outta my mirror housing and take is manual mirror outta its mirror housing and put mine in there... but on the manual one theres like one screw on the bottom and two up top that are close, on the power one it looks like its screwed in there different

question is can i take a power mirror and put it in a manual mirror door.... hard to explain but hopefully you all understand

 

it would work if your wires fit through the hole that the manual controller goes through. and if it covered up the holes. like, if yours fit in there or if you could drill yourself a hole so that your mirror fits and it covers up the bolt down holes on the door than it would work. water would be able to get in but it just drains out the bottom of your door.
