Steering Wheel repair

Id like to keep my steering wheel color scheme, however the white is rubbing off...badly.
What can I do?
If it comes to worse, Im just going to scrap the rest of the white off and have a black steering wheel

You can't really paint that kind of material and expect it to last. Especially when you have your hands all over it every time you drive it. The right way to do it would be to have the wheel covered in white vinyl or leather.
