Rear Aero Spoiler

Is it worth searching salvage yards for a good rear aero spoiler, or should I just go fiberglass? I've read the forums and it seems folks always have mixed reviews about the quality of the fiberglass ones. The stock one is (of course) cracked and split in a couple locations.

Thanks!

Are you going for a show car look or can you deal with the cracks? The stock ones always crack and the fiberglass ones might not fight as well but you can work with them at least, no one seems to have found a good solution for the stock ones. On top of that the fiberglass will weigh much less so it will put less stress on your hatch struts, personally I want to get a fiberglass one...just gotta save up the cash.

I have the rubber one on mine, its not painted and its kinda heavy especially with no rear hatch shocks ... now if you get the fiberglass one, reading what some people posted about them... i think you'll be reading my sticky at the top of the page

The spoiler I got from Hawks was nice. The guy who painted my car said it required almost no prep. It looks great too.
