Power windows to crank windows?

Anyone done a conversion from power windows to crak windows and if so any details, Im looking into it right now.Thanks.

Power windows to crank

Yeah, the installation is pretty easy if you are comfortable removing the door panel. Once you've done that, you need to have something to hold the window in place while you remove the power window regulator. Door stops work great for this. After that, you'll need to drill out the rivets, and then it should be a piece of cake getting the old one out (I think you have to remove some of the window tracks also).

The only special tool you need of installation is a 1/4 inch rivet gun-don't try and use a 3/16 rivet-they don't work well. Try Harbor Freight tools for the rivet gun.

Rivets

You know, I can't remember where I got those, but I'm thinking it was at Harbor Freight with the Rivet Gun. Maybe they weren't even "peel" rivets, but they did the job nonetheless. I think that it's just important to have the right diameter - 1/4.

You could probably get away with using 1/4 bolts and nuts with some locktite.
