Some of my paint has cracked and chipped in places and I can see another layer of paint...same color but just duller, I'm hoping it's a primer and not the old original paint that has been painted over Also what makes me think it's been re-painted is on the front grill there is some blue paint on the edge of it...kinda like a tiny bit of over spray. I wonder, did GM paint the cars BEFORE the grill was inserted? hmm...I'll take some pics of it too. what do you think, has it been repainted?

Looks repainted. They definately painted the car before the grill was added.

Looks repainted to me.The paint underneith is duller because the guy who last painted it sanded it to get the new paint to stick to it plus basecoat is kinda dull anyway till the clearcoat is applied.

i forget the mil rate....anyhow the car in that picture has been repainted. at least in the areas of most importance.
