I'm in the process of buying the dash below, but I have one question. The way the A-Pillar lines up with the dash does not look like the way ours lines up. Do I need the A-Pillars out of the 4th gen?? Will they fit w/o modification?? I want this to look as stock as possible!!! I'm finalizing this deal with this guy tomorrow, so as soon as someone could get back to me, that would be AWESOME!! Thanks!!!

 

Do a search for CustomX's car. His 89 IROC has a 4th dash and he made the edges look GREAT.

 

From what I read, the A-pillar will not swap over, the angles are all different. I have been thinking the same thing for the past few weeks now. Basically, I am thinking about just taking part of the 4th gen a-pillar, the part that comes to the dash, and modling it to the stock one so that it fills the gap in. Either that or seeing if I can modify the hell out of 4th gen a-pillar and MAKE the damn thing fit.

 

I was pondering it a little bit more today... and if ya replace the A-pillar, then it won't line up with the t-tops right either. And I don't believe 4th gen t-tops are swappable..
