guage claster bulbs

Transmission: T-5
Axle/Gears: 3.73 10bolt
guage claster bulbs

I have a guage claster from a 90 firebird for my 84 trans am. it is orange and I want to change the color to blue to match my car...... I wanted to know if anyone here has done this before and knows where I can bulbs that are blue.....

if they are the 194 bulbs then you can get them in any color almost anywhere. I think Autozone even carries colored bulbs now. Not sure how that cluster is setup but in mine(91) the 194 bulbs are soldered to the socket and have to be either heated off or broken off and the the new bulb has to be put back the same way by soldering them.

Hey BottledZr28,

You can find those sockets for replacable bulbs in some auto parts stores or in most junk yards.

Thanks, I'm pretty sure they are 194 bulbs, it is the exact same cluster thats in my 91, so it has got to be............
