Primers, Black or Gray

does it matter what color primer to use when your going to paint over it?...

i mean will the diffrent color primers change the tone of the car paint?

yeap the lighter the primer the lighter the shade o fpaint.
u can primer yur car black then paint it blue and primer another grey and paint it blue and yull have a darker blue.
oh meaning using the exact same paint n all and color on 2 different colored primered cars.

the darker it is the darker paint will be the lighter the lighter.

liek u do a car in grey primer its harder to get dark colors to cover it liek black it takes more coats and more paint to get it to cover.
and say u do black over grey itll make it a lighter almost dark grey black.
but if u used black primer or red it make it richer darker black.

its also hard to get light colors to cover dark primers.
