Hi, My 83 z28 doors have electric door locks, both solenoids work fine on opening door when locked, but when in unlocked position and you push switch, my passenger side door slider will only go part way, unless you keep hitting switch 4-6 times. Of course you can manually lock it fine. I just had new weather stripping put on today at a body shop, and when they put the doors back together, the slider did the same thing. Is it just binding somewhere, or need some white grease/wd40? Appreciate any ideas,

I think that is a very common problem... Mine does exactly the same thing.. I am going to put in aftermarket actuators for the locks.. there is a little "elbow" in the door that can be greased but if it locks ok i wouldnt think that was it..
