Interesting way of removing the front seats

My car is currently stored in a garage where there is barely enough room to open the doors. It cannot be pulled out of the garage for various reasons and it will remain in storage for a portion of the summer. I want to take the front seats out so that I can recondition them while the car is in storage, and also so they don't develop that musty smell/mold common from storing in high/varied humidity conditions despite the numerous sta-dri bags I have placed in the car. My question is this:

Is it possible to unbolt the seats and them take them out of the car via the back hatch? I don't know why anyone else would have to do this, but if anyone knows, it would help me out a lot so I don't break anything trying to do the impossible.

Thanks

strangly enough, i had to do this myself when i had the 82 (dont ask.)

sitting in the drivers seat, slide the passenger seat back all the way.... then pull the release so its laying down flat... use a ratchet and socket (usually 13mm) and undo the front nuts... slide it forward all the way, tip it forward (so it doesnt try to fall backwards) and undo the back ones...

since it was laying down flat, you can just wiggle it straight out the back.
