Wetsanding questions!

I wetsanded the rear decklid, i used 1500 grit wet sandpaper and then used turtle wax rubbing compound amd then turtle wax polishing compound. The paint feels really nice now, and from the right angle is like a mirror, but looking down onto it, it's still pretty dull looking. Dont know if i missed a step or if i did something wrong? Any input? thanks!

get a buffing wheel. If you wet sanded it, you will never get the shine back from hand waxing it. Your arm will fall off before that happens. 3M sells a lot of compounds that you can use with a buffer. Once the compound has been used, the shine will start to come back, but it wont be perfect, That when you use a 3M hand glaze compound and then it will look killer
