i started the new paint job process on my car last weekend. I took off the doors, mirrors, hatch, spoiler, and front bumber when i get under the car to take the back bumper off i see the frame is pushed in and bent so its a 12 round fight to get the bolts that hold the bumber on, when i finally get it off the whole backend is smashed in (Luckliy my dads owns a bodyshop with a frame machine and we got it all straightend out in half a day). Ive got the the hood, doors, GFX, Spoilers and 1/3 of the car sanded. We Should have it done within two weeks given that its easter this week and i havent decided on what color i want to paint it( im down to 2 different blacks and 3 greys or charcol). ill get try to get some pics of the process and finish.
