I have a problem w/ my hood where it doesn't always pop but I have to push it down to get it to pop. Any ideas of how to get it to pop on yhe first try?

That's what my TA did when I got it. Just spray some wd40 all over the latch mechanism and keep, poping it, shutting it over and over a few times before you try anything big.

Mine does it all the time. I have to pull the release, punch the hood above the latch, and it will open up.

I'd remove the latch, degrease it with engine degreaser and spray with white lithium grease and move the latching mechanism a bunch of times to get it worked in, then reinstall it, should be good as new.
