headlight problems

sorry if this is in the wrong forum but if it is move it please and thanks

ok here is the deal when i turn on my headlights only the passenger outside healight comes on with my driving lights now when i hit the highbeams are all four head lights supposed to come on? bc it looks like both on the passenger come on and only the inside driver light is on highbeam? is this bad wireing or is it a relay?. i need to figure this out due to the fact i drive the highways everynight home and i could get a ticket or worse get in an accident.

I had a similar problem w/ mine.
Wehn I got the car they all worked after removing for primer and reinstalling they worked after removeing and einstalling after paint they didn't.
The 2 drivers sides did and I had probs w/ the wire popping out on the pass. inside light well I tried them to see if the wire was in good enough and the drivers too worked until i hit the dimmer then the inside drivers went out. I then put the other pass. side in so after that I checked I had both outsides goin until I flipped the dimmer then the pass. side went out but would come back on if you flipped the dimmers again.
I bought 4 brand new lights 2 high beams and 2 low/highs.
when on bright they should all be on but dim only the outer 2 one on each side furthest outside ones.
I changed all 4 and they work liek they are supposed to.
I took some scrap wie and ran a hot wire and ground wire fomr batt. the the light w/o the plug in on em and they didn't work but my test light was showin no power on my harness so I bought new lights put em in and everything worked as it should.
I'd unplug the plugs and test light them w/ your test light to see if you got power on the harness. Then test wire your lights if you hook the lights w/ test wire straight to the battery and they don't work get new ones. if they do its yur harness fuse or realy.
Try a test light on the harness 1st maybe you'll have a good light and it'll work mine didn't it was showing by my light I had no juice at the plug but new headlights say different. Might want to crawl under and check all your fuses in the box anyways. Then test light the plugs. Then test wire the lights direct if that don't work try new headlights. If hot wiring em to the battery works you got a wireing problem or fuse., relay that type a deal

Replace your driver side outboard headlight; the low beam filament has burnt out.

Re: headlight problems

Alright simple question. My low beams all work. When I go to turn on my high beams, the passenger side goes dark. I found all the grounds and they are good. Is it a bulb on the driver side that is causing this issue? After reading through this, I have come the conclusion it perhaps is. Insight would be good. Thanks.

Re: headlight problems

Just need to replace the sealed beams that are not lighting up.

If outer light soes dark when hi beams on, then outer light needs replaced. If inner light goes out, then inner needs replaced. If both go out, then both need replaced.

Re: headlight problems

I have replaced both already, and the low beam works just fine. I don't think that is the solution for me.

Thanks though.
