Sail panel birds stolen!
Hey!
I recently got myself a red TRANS AM GTA. It's overall condition is quite good although both the sailpanel birds were missing. They were stolen the previous owner said.
I'm wondering if any of you helpful people would know where I would get a great deal on these? I've noticed they can be quite expensive. Is the 4th gens birds cheaper? And are they different somehow?

One word... eBay. They are on there all the time and they are pretty cheap. The 4th Gen birds are quite a bit different than the GTA birds. I think if you were to get a set of red 4th Gen (93-97) and put them in the same places it would look ok, but not just on the sail panels.
