Clear side markers for TA????
Ok...Ive tried searching, and I didnt find exactly what I need to know. Actually...ive found a pic of a firebird with the clear front side marker lights, so i know its possible. The only place I have found that sells them is Procarparts.com. I emailed them as to whether they would fit my car, and their response was "Hi, Unfortunetly the bumper lights will not fit your vehicle."
My question is...does anyone know if the side bumper lights for the camaros and firebirds were the same? Atleast in 87? Let me know because they seem to be the same. I did call the dealership and he said they were different part numbers for replacement lenses...so maybe they wont fit. But I wanted to ask you all first. thanks.

Yep all 3rd gens have the same. I have the front ones from Procarparts.com and they fit my 89 GTA.
Anyone seen clear rear side markers? They make them for the 4th Gens but I never seen them for a 3rd Gen Firebird/TA. They would look really cool with a red bulb. Just having clear up front looks a bit strange if the rear ones are still the "old" look....

I've wondered the same thing about the clear rear one, would be nice to have. But I don't mind since my car is red it blends in much better. If it was any other colour I would've tried to contact the manufacturer of those clears and have them make up some for the rear; which is what you could do if you want them badly.

Thanks guys. Im going to order them from procarparts. They are the cheapest...but they are still pricey.
I have a black car and I really dont mind the red back lights. For some reason the front orange lenses stick out more. I think its because red goes with other colors alittle better than orange. Anyway, thanks for the help.
Now I have to think of something to do to my front signal lights... Any ideas????

I have a white car so having clear ones both front and rear would look really good, just clear up front and then the red ones in the back looks a bit strange I think. Anyway might drop Procarparts and e-mail to see if they ever thought about doing this ....
