Can't get hood open ("Fonzie" no longer works)

My hood used to need the fonzie method after pulling the cable but now it won't open period. I have a GTA so there is no grill...Anyone have an easy way before I start going in from underneath?

have someone hold the hood release handle back while you tap the hood in the center areas, or lightly pull up around the headlights.

once you get that thing open, use a screwdriver and make the spring longer, and WD-40 the crap out of the hood release peice and the hood mounts.

It doesn't open period. No tricks will work. I have tried all the tricks everyone knows to open the hood. It sucks alot.

The "Fonzie" would be when the hood doesn't pop open when you pull the hood pop, but it will pop if you hit the hood right after you pull it. Ala Happy Days and the jukebox.

Everyone laughs at me for putting grease on my hood latch
Then I laugh at them when they cannot get there hood open, and mine works perfectly
