Interior window weather strip installation.
Interior window weather strip installation.
I installed new interior glass weatherstrip for my doors (that long black thing on the top of you doors inside) a couple years back and the installation was less than desireable. It was held on by factory speed nuts that were on backwards! I looked to Snap-On, Matco, and Mac for an installation tool but found nothing. I attempted to put one nut on the factory way with pliers but almost broke off the plastic nib. I then just flipped all the other nuts opposite of the factory way and pushed like a FMer until they barely cought one thread of the plastic. Needless to say I am very upset with this installation technique for an $80 part. Does any one know the correct way to put the nuts on these door panel weatherstrip peices?

Just thought I might help everyone out. I found the tools to do this job! They are Snap-On S6103 and S9614. I really hope this helps someone out in the future.
