Tailight lense help.
How do you go about removing the back lense off of the tailights. Any help would be greatly apreciated. Sorry for not using the search function however for some reason every time I use it it gives me the "page cannot be found" error.
Thanks in advanced.

Well I was thinking of getting new lenses for the back end as mine are looking pretty rough. I tried to clean them up but there are more scratches and nicks out of them so I was just gonna replace them.

to take the entire tail lights out.. yea.... remove panels and take out the rubber nut deals off them (5?). Mine took some persuasion to get out.
taking the lenses off the tail light housing itself is fun. There are several clips that you have to unsnap and black tar-like stuff that holds the lense. I took apart an IROC light that I got from a junkyard and the black was already coming undone a bit... had to be real careful. I didn't break anything when I did it so I dont know how easily the lense would break... but if felt like I was going to the whole time I was doing it. ............of course that was a Camaro tail light... heh. Oh well.
