ive been trying to take out the heater box so i can take out the AC parts and put it back in . but i cannot figure out hot to take out the box. ive removed 3 bolts on the engine bay side of the firewall on top of the box and 3 bolts from the firewall at the passenger footwell. but it wont come out. what am i not noticing?

I just took mine out last weekend. I had all the bolts out and it still was tight. It was just the gasket keeping it on there. Really give it a tug and it should break loose. Also, dumb question, but you took the nut off the stud, too. Right.
