Crushed seat frame mount

I just bought some black Leather GTA seats for my car. I was cleaning them up and tighting up the frames, ect. When i noticed that one of the mounting points for the frame was crushed in and broken. It was probably accomplished throught years of use because it is the drivers side seat and the left rear mount. The seats have just been recovered in new leather so I don't want to toss them and buy new ones. Have any of you come across this, if so how did you fix the problem. thanks

weld a piece of metal to the end of the bracket and rill a hole in it, or buy new brackets, or duck tape it
