has anyone put mesh overtop of the black vents in the noes of a pre 85 Z28?? i have been thinking of doing this but would like to see pics before i waste money buying the mesh. how do u think it will look?

funny you should say that I'm about to trythat one myself ... will take a few months before I get round to it though

 

i went to home depot and bought the aluminum mesh (small squares) I don't know how to put up the pic, but it looks good and you can't get the factory grills anymore.

 

this is a mesh grill that i put on 87 z/28. i just got some chicken
wire form home depot and took the originall grill and used it as a
mold.
