All you guys with AM 2or3 gauge pods step inside!

I just got a triple apillar pod in from Summit and slide it in where it goes and it looks like crap! I know that Im suppose to take mine off and mount it to the original apillar and then slide it in but if I was to do that would the fitment be alot better? Also does it make niose when driving seeing that it tight as hell against the dash pad?

Im thinking about just sending it back and getting the dual cap type pod....not the full pod......

and yes I did get the correct one for T-top cars...

I have had mine for almost a year, and it didn't notice any more noise then a usual thirdgen makes
it does fit tight on the dash pad, but that may be why it fits so solid, and yes it will fit much better attached to the original a pillar.

SO once you take off the original pillar and mount it like it says to the fit will be alot better than doing a test fit like I did by just sliding it in where its suppose to go...

Does it fit good on the apillar...I want to know before I go taking mine off cause the apillars are a pain to get back on...

There was a place that made a full 3 gauge a pillar for our cars. Wasn't the entire peice not just glue or screw the pods on. I think I have the link at work.

i didnt like the look of haveing the piller gauges ither. it looked to bulky and did not have a clean look since they all just bolted on and u can see that. check out mine i only have 2 but there is a 3 gauge pod and the colour and texture of the pod is the same as are interior plastic, plus u can mount them in alot more places.

how do you properly reattach the apillar back on with those guage pods touching the dash? not that it matters to me, because i dont properly reattach it anyways, i hate those spikey connector things so mine are stlil there just bent sideways to provide some cushion from rattling
