T-top Weather Stripping
I have a small leak on the passneger side by the area closest to the front winshield. It drips down the side of the door by the cup holder and on the back part near the sides of the back seat. Now I have heard that if I replace the weathering stripping, that it might get rid of my problem, it might not. Its 279 bucks so I want to make sure that it does seal for good this time. So what are ur experiences with t-top weather sealing and does it work completely or just make things a little better?

where exactly is the water coming in from?? you have described the general area.. if the water is coming in from behind the seals.. it'll be an easy fix. Also in some cases if it's coming in between the glass and the seal, you could adda shim behind the seal to push it out some.. and that would usualyl fix that problem.. there are ways to fix the seal, provided it's not leaking because of rips, holes, or just plain compressed and dried out.

I can't tell EXACTLY where it is coming in from, just the general area. Like I said, near the front of the passenger side window and near the back of it. Its not heavy leakage, just enough to make drops and maybe leave a 1 inch in dia. water spot on the carpet near where the door meets the dash.

ok, two places for you to check .. look at the top corner of the weather strip. where it goes from the t-top to the front edge of the side window. Water may enter up there and travel down.
Also in various places put a piece of paper between your seal and the glass, close the door, or roll up the window. and pull on the paper.. This will help you identify where on the there is the lowest snug fit of the glass to the seal.. it may be sneaking around the glass. If this is the case.. you can either, adjust your up stops for the side glass a bit, or try an shim the seal from behind a bit.. From the sounds of it, it'll not take much (if thats the actual case).
