The door's on my 87 Vert are shot, Lot's of rust on bottom. They have p-lock's and window's and i have 89 RS parts car with really nice door's but only have p-locks. How hard will it be to change these ??

I did a search on manual to power window swap's and found like 67 threads on subject, I only read the one's with most replies and still have a couple of concern's. Major concern is making sure the thing don't blow up in my face, How should i make sure to secure the regulator b-fore starting removal????

What is the best position to have the window in for both door's b-fore starting to tear down???
